I was on a Black Writers’ Zoom with a few other Black feminine educators not too long ago. We have been reflecting on the effects of Trevor Noah’s farewell speech. In Trevor Noah’s farewell speech on his ultimate episode of The Daily Demonstrate, he presented a self-proclaimed “random for some but exclusive shoutout to Black women of all ages.” This “random” shoutout influenced so numerous Black gals.
